Not all Psychology majors will gain a place in a 4th year program. Not all Psychology majors will want to go on with Psychology.

So where else can a Psychology major lead?

The session will look at alternative careers (both closely related and less closely related to Psychology) – including both those requiring further study and those where there are entry-level employment opportunities.

Careers in Psychology Information Evening

Interested in Psychology but don't know what field to go in to? Want a chance to network with professionals in the field and obtain work experience? Then come and attend the 2012 "Careers in Psychology" information evening. This event is organised by the Australian Psychological Society (Melbourne Branch) and intended to offer secondary and undergraduate psychology students an insight into several specialist areas of psychology.

This event is important in the process of vocational selection for students, and also broadens their understanding of the role of psychologists in the community. This event also provides a great opportunity for students to mingle and form networks with psychologists from a number of fields.
